We are a small farm in SW Longmont focused on regenerative agriculture where we rotationally graze animals around the property and build our top soil.

Below are two positions in our commercial kitchen. There are additional tasks with our inventory warehousing and packaging sales that can add enough hours for a part time position.

lead cook for caramel sauce

We are looking for someone with experience in a kitchen environment, particularly baking, to help us with our handcrafted Caramel Sauce.

This position is for the lead cook who will have some time at the kitchen solo with support coming midway through the shift in the kitchen. Our caramel sauce is currently made in a commercial kitchen in South Boulder once a week. The job would entail arriving at 7am to start 4 pots with 4-6 gallons of milk and hand stir in ingredients over a 5 hours period. There would be a detailed training and the owner would be with you for several kitchen shifts to ensure the process understood and executed correctly.

Starting Salary: $17/hour

  • Total Time: 7-14 hours/week

  • Requires heavy lifting of pots once caramel is made to pour into jars

  • An assistant will arrive midway to assist the final stage, as well as jar and lid the caramel sauce and assist with cleanup

  • Attention to detail, confidence in a kitchen and the ability to multitask is central to this role

    Note: This role could be combined with a warehouse manager and other tasks associated with the business.

Support Cook for caramel

This position will assist the lead cook and learn all of the details to cooking the caramel sauce. You will arrive midway through the shift and assist with stirring, monitoring temperature and pouring/lidding our caramel.

Starting Salary: $16/hour

  • Total Time: 3.5-7 hours/week

  • Requires heavy lifting of pots once caramel is made to pour into jars

  • This position will assist with the final stage of the caramel, jar and lid the caramel sauce and assist with cleanup.

We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, is positive and is capable of multitasking.

warehouse manager

We have several tasks associated with tracking and stocking our inventory and packaging wholesale and direct sale orders. We are looking for someone to assist with these administrative rolls.

Starting Salary: $16/hour

  • 10 hours/week

  • Label and date newest batch of caramel sauce

  • Package boxes for wholesale

  • Help owner determine timelines for new flavors and cooking schedule
